Emerald Hills Homeowners Association
February 2007 | Message from the Board

Dear Neighbors,

This is the first Message from the Board monthly update. Its purpose it to keep you informed about what is happening around our neighborhood. Below you will find some information that may be of interest to you.

To begin, if you have not yet reviewed January EHHOA Meeting minutes, please take some time to do so. The minutes are posted on our association website at http://ehhoa.info/. Go to the sidebar and select [Resident Information], then [Minutes of 1/9/07 HOA Meeting].

Last month some vandals spray painted a garage door, a mailbox, a street sign, a Realtors sign and an SUV, all on Wyndham Hill Drive. A police report was filed. I personally spoke with Sheriff Randy Fisher and he assured me that patrolling of the neighborhood would be increased. Also, I am arranging a time for Sheriff Fisher to come and speak to our neighborhood about community safety awareness in the near future.

January also saw a strange critter running around the neighborhood. Some neighbors along Emerald Hills Drive noticed a large raccoon in their yard. It’s very rare to see a raccoon during the daytime, and it was acting very strange. The animal was assumed to be rabid so Animal Control was notified and they dispatched someone to try and locate the animal. Last year a similar incident happened regarding a fox. As spring approaches, please be aware and report any strange animal behavior in the neighborhood.

Finally, members of the Architectural Review Committee will be meeting this month to update policies and procedures. A date has not yet been set, so if you would like to be part of this committee please contact me as soon as possible.

Again, thank you very much for your time, patience, and most importantly your support. I look forward to working with many of you over the next year. The Board of Directors is proud to serve you and is committed to continuing the excellent quality of life we enjoy here in Emerald Hills.

Sincerely,

Kurt Michael, President
