First things first: I would like to thank Cecilia Paszkiewicz for taking over the vacant secretary position for the HOA. During the take over of the new position, Cecilia recorded one of the discussions incorrectly- Jerry Ettinger was placed on the ARC committee under chairman J.R. Lawhorne. Again ,thanks for excepting the position, Cecilia.

Something that we have discussed at numerous meetings, I would like to expand on briefly.

  1. Two years ago we presented a plan that would spend the money that comes from association dues. We don't intend to borrow money for any projects.

If you know anyone that's willing to help with this project, please have them contact one of the board members.

  2. Common area upkeep.

I would like to thank those of you that take care and groom the areas in front of and behind your homes. And those that don't do this, you need to follow your neighbors lead and take care of your area. If you do that we don't have to pay Mr. Wheeler extra, and we can use those funds to make improvements to the neighborhood.

  3. Conditions and Restrictions (See July 1st, 2004 News - Article #16)
Several members brought up things that are covered in this article #16 (some of those things you will see listed below)

    1. Barking Dogs
    2. Dogs running loose in the neighborhood
    3. Loud music coming from cars and backyards
    4. Children playing in the streets without parent supervision
    5. Lawn mowers going before 8:00 AM weekly and more so on Sundays
    6. Late evening fireworks. Noisy and dangerous to everyone's property
    7. Any activity that you or your guests engage in that your neighbors might find offensive or a nuisance.
    8. Non-licensed motorized vehicles..i.e.cars, motor-bikes, bicycles and remote or radio controlled vehicles.

I have had several calls on almost every thing listed above and more. My response is to call the county police. We as a neighborhood have ordinances that cover most annoyances but the authorities only can enforce those ordinances.

Thanks for your support,

Larry Ingle, EHHOA President
