The file is reverse sorted so that the most recent data record is at the top. 2. For those who asked why the depth is not increasing... This is because the heavier wet snow is compressing the underlying dryer, lighter snow. The depth gauge is not used to measure snow fall. Snow fall is measured using a cold white board, sweeping it off as per NWS guidelines. 3. Season snow / ice total shows in the heading in the brackets [E= S= L= ]. 4.
